ITQ Course Success at Hattersley Library

 Linda Whitehead

Local resident, Linda Whitehead, recently became the first local candidate to obtain her ITQ Level 2 Qualification from the course arranged by Ashton Sixth Form College at Hattersley Library.

Linda said, “ The great attraction for me was that I already had a good degree of the knowledge and skills required to gain the qualification. I only attended one course session the rest I did in my own time and had my coursework assessed by the college".

Linda’s line manager said, “It has been obvious that since Linda started working towards her NVQ that her understanding of IT has grown enormously. The NVQ has made her think in wider terms which will allow her to apply this knowledge to many different tasks.”
